Earlier today, I wrote a short post about the trailers that premiered over the Superbowl weekend (4th/5th Feb 2018). One that I had mentioned was the Solo film teaser trailer. Now a second, extended trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film has now surfaced. To be honest, the film looks like it will be awesome, but even though I'm not 100% convinced about the young Han Solo (being played by Alden Ehrenreich) just yet, I'm not going to jump on the band wagon and critique him now. He does appear to have the suave, feisty and cheeky attitude that we all know Harrison Ford's Han did. One thing that I will say is that during his voice over on this new trailer, he sounds very much like a young Leonardo DiCaprio to me. This may just be me thinking that view.
I actually believe that the actor will surprise us during his time in the huge role. Initially, I wasn't best pleased when the media formerly announced that Ezra Miller was cast as Barry Allen/The Flash for the 'Justice League' movie in 2017, as gotten quite used to Grant Gustin's portrayal on 'The Flash' TV series on the CW network. But I loved Miller's Flash and thought he was a big highlight of the film. So I don't intend to be like all of the other critics out there, I want to be able to give Alden Ehrenreich a chance to show just what he can do.
Let's leave the speculations and jibber-jabber behind. Luckily May isn't too far away and we will be able to see it for ourselves and make up our own minds.
