Blue Beetle Film Logo Shown at CinemaCon 2022

Updated: May 21, 2022

Blue Beetle is a very popular character with readers of DC (Detective Comics) graphic novels. The character originated back in 1939 and the rights were actually owned by Fox Comics and then later owned by Charlton Comics. However DC Comics now currently have the rights to the hero. This also means that there have been three different personas linked to the character. But more recently the Blue Beetle is known as Jaime Reyes, a teen that discovered a blue beetle scarab and essentially morphed with it.

Warner Bros. Pictures had announced plans for a Blue Beetle film some time ago and the lead role Jaime has already been awarded to actor Xolo Maridueña (Cobra Kai).

It was at CinemaCon on Monday night where the company had shared the official logo for the upcoming film for the first time where it was showcased on a reel showcasing their future projects.

The new logo, (sourced from comicbook.com) showcases an expected striking blue shade, but also surrounded by a whimsical bubblegum pink in the style of what appears to be graffiti style artwork. Simplistic, but pretty damn awesome!
