LPH Concerts & Events Preview 2022

LPH Concerts and Events are making a big comeback for 2022! With a huge line-up of shows across numerous locations. In previous years we have seen the likes of Kasiser Chiefs, Tom Jones, Peter Hook & The Light, Olly Murs and many more big names.

The first of the LPH shows which is only a few weeks away, falls on the Queens Platinum Jubilee weekend and Bedford Park is hosting the event. On the 3rd June they have the legendary 2 tone and ska band The Specials with support act Tribes, a 4 piece rock n roll band from Camden Town. They had previously decided to split in 2013, but have recently reformed to write and record a brand new album which is set to release later this year.

On the 4th June Bedford's very own Tom Grennan will be back for a hometown show. Tom has toured the world with his music and has became a musical icon. Support comes from Ella Eyre, Eden Hunter and Bedford rock bands The Wholls and The Scruff who have both played with Tom on many occasions previously.

Fast forward to 28th July, Bedford Park will also welcome Manchester pop band Simply Red with very special guest Lisa Stansfield and Marisha Wallace.

On 29th July the biggest party in Bedford is back! Cafe Mambo Ibiza 'In The Park' which will feature Mark Knight, Todd Terry, Amine Edge, Ben Santiago, Lovely Laura and Mark Russell. Make sure to get your dancing shoes ready!

The 30th July will see the Modfather himself Paul Weller taking to the stage preforming a huge back catalogue of music. Support comes from Richard Hawley and Andrew Cusin.

Bringing the weekend's festivities to a close on 31st July, is the ever popular Bedford Proms which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with Wynne Evans, a west end soprano, who is most well known for his role in stage in The Phantom of the Opera but, more commonly as the 'Go Compare man' from television advertisements, Evans will also be joined by Broadway and West End sensation Marisha Wallace. Both acts will be supported by the beautiful musical stylings of the London Gala Orchestra. As always the night will draw to a close with a colourful firework display and one of the best laser shows in the country.

As well as the Bedford Park shows there will be other events across the country including Paul Weller , Simply Red ,Keane, Texas, Rag N Bone Man, Paloma Faith, Manic Street Preachers, UK's 2022 Eurovision entry, the phenomenal Sam Ryder and many more.
