If you loved The Batman, then it's time to celebrate and rejoice as Warner. bros Pictures have announced at CinemaCon that the film has been given the green light for a sequel, with stars Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz returning to their respective roles and Matt Reeves remaining firmly in the director's chair.
The Batman was hugely successful while it earned $759 million at global box offices, with Pattinson becoming a fan favourite in the role of The Dark Knight, so of course it makes total sense to continue with the character's story while introducing new characters and alternative plot lines along the way. We also already know that we can look forward to seeing the return of Colin Farell on HBO Max as the infamous Oswald Cobblepot (The Penguin) as he is due to grace our screens in the form of a series about the character. So having both of these projects is great deal to look forward to.
